Report: OC VAD - Charity Drive for Pakistan Flood Victim

This is the statistic we got from http://ndma.gov.pk/index.html, on what happen in Pakistan in the flash flood in the country. Knowing the fact of this destructive incident, Malaysian Red Crescent, Multimedia University Cyberjaya Chapter, working hand in hand with the Pakistani students in MMU for a Charity Drive, including Fund Raising via Donation Box and Candle March. Also participated were Student Representative Council, Model United Nation, IEEE, and few other clubs in Multimedia University.

The donation box been place around campus, from 26th August - 7th September, aims to raise fund from the university community. A candle march was organized on 1st September 2010. The march start from Hidaayat Mosque (MMU Surau), go to Cyberia and ended at the back entrance of MMU.

Over all, RM3200 been collected and sent to National Headquarter of Malaysian Red Crescent. Thanks to all who donated and participated in this simple fund raising. A little help from you may bring a huge different for those who need it.
