Report: OC VAD - Medical Camp

Dear visitors,

Our members were contribute for Selangor Branch activity for the very first time for the year 2010/2011! 10 members were helping in demonstration of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and Basic First Aid to the residents of Kenanga Point Condominium, Jalan Gelugor, Pudu, in conjunction with Medical Camp & Blood Donation Drive, organized by Kenanga Point Owners & Residents Association, together with Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) of Selangor Branch.

There are three main events, namely Medical Camp for children, Blood Donation Drive and exhibition+demonstration. The ceremony is officiated by Member of Parliment of Cheras constituency, YB Tan Kok Wai. Also present are Madam Fatimah, Chairman of MRC Selangor Branch, Dr Selva Jothi, Deputy Chairman of MRC Selangor Branch, Mr Pang Tee Kwong, President Kenanga Point Owners & Residents Association, and Management Committees of Kenanga Point Condominium.

Report: Social Welfare - Social contribution and Outing 2010/11

Dear all,

Thank you for all members who joined our social contribution and support this activity. Your enthusiasm made this activity more interesting and meaningful.The details of the event are as followed:

Date: 14^th August 2010

Time: 9am-5pm

Venue: Port Dickson ( Pantai Cermin & Pantai Teluk Kemang)

Participant: 24 members

We co-operate with Majlis Perbandaran Port Dickson for this social contribution. We appreciated that the authority had given high co-operation to us. We cleaned up the rubbish at the seaside at Pantai Cermin with Majlis Perbandaran Port Dickson’s workers. After that, we had fun at Pantai Teluk Kemang. Hopefully all the member can continue join the following event hold by Red Crescent.

Social Contribution 2010/11

Dear all,

Malaysian Red Crescent of Multimedia University Cyberjaya Chapter is organizing a Social Contribution on this coming Saturday. The details of the event are as followed:

Date : 14th August 2010 (Saturday)
Time : 7am-5pm
Venue: Port Dickson (Pantai Teluk Kemang)

Fee : RM 5

The main purpose of this event is contribute to the society in a different way, by cleaning up the rubbish at the seaside at Pantai Teluk Kemang. It aims to raise up the awareness of members and public towards the important of public cleanliness, and help to preserve the tourism spot.

After all, it's our outing session. Members are free to have their own activities. You are advised to bring two suits of clothes for changing.

Those who are interested to join the event, please submit your name and fee to your respective commandant.

For your information, everyone is required to wear RC- shirt during the event. Lunch is not provided.

Gratitude for 26th Blood Donation Drive

Dear all,

Congratulate to all of you to make 26th Blood Donation Drive a success!

For your information, the total number of blood donors are as follow:
1st August: 48
2nd August: 61
3rd August: 83
4th August: 132
Overall, we have 324 of blood donors from this batch.

Moreover, we would like to give special thanks to Fruit Plus Sweet, Sweetie Bread, Sushi King Voucher, Vico Drink, Iko Cookies, and Dolphin Jelly for their sponsor items to this 26th Blood Donation Drive. We appreciate the help of Red Crescent members to come for promote and duty as well.

This blood donation drive won't be success with lacking of any donors, sponsors, or Red Crescent members! Finally, thanks again to all of you for giving contribution in this event.
