Membership Recruitment Drive 2010/2011

Dear all,
Welcome back to MMU and welcome to be part of MMU for new students.

It is our pleasure to announce that, we, Malaysian Red Crescent of Multimedia University Cyberjaya Chapter is having our Membership Recruitment Drive for this new academic year. Details of the recruitment are as followed:

Date : 14th - 24th June 2010
Time : 10am - 3pm
Venue : Central Plaza

Here are some Q&A for you~
1. Who we are?
Group of volunteer who are always willing to help those who need and we have fun together.

2. What we have done?
• Participated in International exchange program
• Get trained for emergency respond
• Learn and implement First Aid skill
• Contribute to the community
• Organize blood donation drive
• Organize Awareness Campaign
• And a lot more activities you want!!

3. What we will have in the future?
• Is what we have done and what you want!
• More fun moment we will have!

4. How to join?
• Get ready with 2 passport size photos (or we can snap for you, but you have to pay RM2)
• Fill up the form, and database at the computer.
• Keep in touch with us via YahooGroup also the Facebook

5. How about the membership fee?
• RM 3.00/years which provide insurance for you when you are on duty
• Extra RM5.00 for the laminated membership card.
(We suggest 4 years subscription with RM17.00 to avoid complexity)

6. What you must have??
• Malaysian Red Crescent T-shirt (RM 16.00)
• Nametag (RM4.00)

Gratitude for 25th Blood Donation Drive

Dear donors,

We would like to thank all the donors for making the 25th Blood Donation Drive a success. We appreciate and thank those who had the intention to donate but were rejected due to specific reasons too.

For your information, we have successfully collected 381 packs of blood during this Blood Donation Drive. The amount of packs of blood we collected each days are as below:

Day 1 : 93 people successfully donate blood

Day 2: 92 people successfully donate blood

Day 3: 95 people successfully donate blood

Day 4: 101 people successfully donate blood

In conclusion, there is a total of 381 packs of blood collected during this 4 days.

Besides that, we would like to give special thanks to the Vico Mug, Sushi King, Soy Rich (Yeo's), and Domino Pizza Sdn. Bhd. for their sponsor in this Blood Donation Drive. We need to special thanks for 988 radio station for helping us in promoting this Blood Donation Drive as well.

Mass CPR Campaign

Dear all,

It is a pleasure to inform that Malaysian Red Crescent Multimedia University Cyberjaya Chapter is having a mass CPR Campaign. The details are as follow:
Date : 29th to 30th March 2010
Time : Monday 1pm-3pm, 4pm-6pm
Tuesday 10am - 12pm, 1pm - 3pm, 4pm - 6pm
Venue : Beside the MPH Extension

For every slot there will be briefing about what CPR is all about together with demonstrations as well. A practical examination will be carried out on the spot and successful participants will be given certificates.

What are you waiting for? Come and join us! Learn CPR not only for yourself but also people around you. Everyone is invited!!!

25th Blood Donation Drive

Dear all,

Malaysian Red Crescent Multimedia University will be organizing 25th Blood Donation Drive. The details is as below:
Date : 29th March 2010- 1st April 2010
Time : 10.30am - 6.00pm
Venue : FIT glassroom

Sponsored item such as Sushi King voucher, domino voucher and etc will be given out to the donors.

Gratitude for 24th Blood Donation Drive

Dear donor,

We, Malaysian Red Crescent, Multimedia University Cyberjaya Chapter would like to take this opportunity to thank all the donors for making the 24th Blood Donation Drive a success. We also thank those who had the intention to donate but were rejected due to specific reasons.

For your information, we have successfully collected 437 pack of blood during this Blood Donation Drive. The amount of packs of blood we collected each days are as below:
Day 1 : 80 people successfully donate blood
Day 2: 97 people successfully donate blood
Day 3:124 people successfully donate blood
Day 4: 136 people successfully donate blood
In conclusion, there is a total of 437 pack of blood collected during this 4 days.

Besides that, we would like to give special thanks to Golden Arches Restaurants Sdn Bhd, L.B.Food Sdn Bhd, Dommal Food Service Sdn Bhd, Maestro Swiss Chocolate Sdn Bhd and McDonals for their sponsor in this Blood Donation Drive. We need to special thanks for 988 radio station for helping us in promoting this Blood Donation Drive as well.
